The core principle: punching control points
The Fixcontrol principle is simple: the control point does not measure anything – the participants carry the technology with them, either the FixLogger or the FixFinder app. That is why the control points need neither power nor maintenance, stay outdoors for years and are affordable. Participants punch via NFC, QR code, letter code or GPS.

Manual readout
Every physical control point offers several readout options. This ensures that everything within the Fixcontrol system works together smoothly. You can extend or adapt the infrastructure at any time.
Together with the FixFinder app, you can also create virtual GPS control points. They are less visible, but can also be used in places such as listed heritage sites or natural areas.
Of course, all types of control point can be combined.
The evaluation logic is carried by the user (FixLogger or FixFinder app). That is why the control points need no maintenance, are cost-effective and are fully suited to outdoor use.
